Monash University 2020 Course Guides

Client: Monash University, Strategic Communications and Media

Brief: To refresh the layout and look of the Monash course guides to be more visually consistent, unique in its look as to stand out amidst competitors and to create a better visual distinctiveness between the twenty eight different courses guides.

Response: We designed a range of visual elements and styles that would be consistent across all guides. These ranged from page layout grids and structures, iconography/other graphic visual cues, colouring and type treatment/styles. We implemented a consistent hierarchical cover design style across the three tiers of guides, with abstract and engaging imagery that reinforce the subject matter of each individual guide. We treated the cover imagery with a blurry effect and made the focal point the Monash ‘M’, visually reinforcing the ideas of focus, clarity and knowledge.

Freckle Architecture Project Showcase Video

Client: Freckle Architecture

Brief: To create a visually engaging and interesting video to showcase Freckle’s architectural project.

Response: I designed an animated sequence with the Freckle branding, sourced music and edited the video together to create a unique and captivating short video that showcases Freckle Architecture’s work.


Tax & Super Australia Marketing Materials

Working as the in-house graphic designer for Tax & Super Australia, I designed a collection of the key marketing materials including videos, infographics, presentation, factsheets, magazines, flyers, brochures, EDM’s, digital banners and social media content, based on the companies brand guidelines and marketing campaign requirements.


Leven Valley Vineyard Promotional Video

Client: Leven Valley Vineyard

Brief: To create a promotional video to showcase Leven Valley Vineyard.

Response: Using a drone I filmed a range of shots that showed off the beauty of the area, the vines and the owners at work. I designed an animated sequence of the Leven Valley Vineyard logo, sourced music and edited the video together to create a unique and captivating promotional video.


Monash Engineering Girls (MEG) Program Branding

Client: Monash University, Engineering School

Brief: To create a visual identity and range of templates for the MEG program. The visual identity needed to speak to young women, primary in years 8-10 at high school, who are interested in pursing education paths in maths, science and/or engineering.

Response: I created a visual identity that used a mix of younger more vibrant colours and gradients, engineering specific vector graphics and relatable imagery for the target audience. This was rolled out over a range of templates and applications from print to digital and social, the package of work was supplied with a style guide and library of elements.

DCF Property Marketing Collateral

Client: DCF Property Developers

Brief: To create a range of flyers, brochures and banners for pre sale and promotion of DCF projects.

Response: I designed a range of promotions marketing materials base on project and company brand style guides.
